SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norma C. Sullivan of Wellington, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan was born August 22, 1918, in Scranton, Pennsylvania; her parents were the late Joseph Raymond & Agnes Marie (nee McCrae) Dymond; and

WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan moved to Cleveland, Ohio as a young girl and lived in Cleveland until moving to Wellington in 1970; she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wellington; she enjoyed raising horses, traveling, mystery novels, animals, and reunions with her husband's military battalion, Company C 128th Maintenance; and

WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael B. Sullivan; and her sister, Verna Zeka; and

WHEREAS, Norma C. Sullivan is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arthur R. Sullivan Jr.; her children, Mary Catherine Bryk, Nora Sullivan Koehler, Rae Anne Sullivan, Theresa M. Schramm, Arthur R. Sullivan, and Daniel P. Sullivan; and her 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Norma C. Sullivan; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norma C. Sullivan as an expression of our sympathy.
