SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Charles Lindberg Tefertiller of Royalton, who passed away on January 4, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Charles Tefertiller was born July 12, 1927 in Royalton; his parents were Jesse and Maisie (Randolph) Tefertiller; and

WHEREAS, He married Margaret J. Prosko on June 19, 1963 in New Mexico; she preceded him in death February 4, 1998; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Tefertiller served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1974; he worked at Turco Industries in DuQuoin after his military retirement; and

WHEREAS, He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Bonnie Tefertiller; his sisters, Lois Dial, Betty Orlandini, and Phyllis Markey; and several nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vida Pohl; and his brothers, Edward and Rudy Tefertiller; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Charles Tefertiller; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles Tefertiller as an expression of our sympathy.
