SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lydia Ann Walthes of West Frankfort, who passed away on April 6, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Ann Walthes was born Jan. 20, 1976, in West Frankfort, to V.E. and Diann (Thompson) Walthes; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Ann Walthes was an educator and teacher at Brehm Preparatory School; and she was a member of the Lions Club in Carterville; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon Walthes, Mary Jelf, and Freeman Thompson; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Ann Walthes is survived by her children, Georgie and Jaxon Ren; her parents, V.E. and Diann Walthes; her sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Larry Snodgrass; her grandmother, Betty Walthes; Mike Ren; and many loving friends and students; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Lydia Ann Walthes; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lydia Ann Walthes as a symbol of our sympathy.
