Amends the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Illinois Educational Labor Mediation Roster.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act is amended by changing Section 6 as follows:

(115 ILCS 5/6) (from Ch. 48, par. 1706)

Sec. 6. Illinois Educational Labor Mediation Roster. The Board shall establish an Illinois Educational Labor Mediation Roster, the the services of which are available to the educational employer and to labor organizations for purposes of arbitration of grievances and mediation or arbitration of contract disputes. The members of the roster shall be qualified impartial individuals who are not employees of the Board.
