SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 1805/48

from Ch. 129, par. 220.48

Amends the Military Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning compensation to be paid officers and warrant officers of the Illinois National Guard.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning the military.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Military Code of Illinois is amended by changing Section 48 as follows:

(20 ILCS 1805/48) (from Ch. 129, par. 220.48)

Sec. 48. When in active service of the the State, under orders of the Commander-in-Chief, officers and warrant officers of the Illinois National Guard shall receive the same pay as provided by law for officers and warrant officers of the armed forces of the United States of like grade and longevity. However, no officer or warrant officer shall receive less than $75 per day for each day's service performed.
