Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Agricultural Export Advisory Committee.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by changing Section 5-530 as follows:

Sec. 5-530. In the the Department of Agriculture and in cooperation with the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. An Agricultural Export Advisory Committee composed of the following: 2 members of the House of Representatives, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives; 2 members of the Senate, to be appointed by the President of the Senate; the Director of Agriculture, who shall serve as Secretary of the Committee; and not more than 15 members to be appointed by the Governor. The members of the committee shall receive no compensation but shall be reimbursed for expenses necessarily incurred in the performance of their duties under this Act.
