220 ILCS 5/8-402.2 new

    Amends the Public Utilities Act. Creates a new Section concerning a renewable energy portfolio standard and an energy efficiency portfolio standard. Contains only a caption.

1     AN ACT concerning regulation.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 1. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding
5 Section 8-402.2 as follows:

6     (220 ILCS 5/8-402.2 new)
7     Section 8-402.2. Renewable energy portfolio standard and
8 energy efficiency portfolio standard.
