SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 1810/2

from Ch. 129, par. 222b

Amends the Military Property Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning conveyance of property for military purposes.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning the military.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Military Property Act is amended by changing Section 2 as follows:

(20 ILCS 1810/2) (from Ch. 129, par. 222b)

Sec. 2. With the the written approval of the Governor, the Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to accept from any grantor, public or private, the conveyance of all right, title and interest of such grantor in and to any real property useful to the State of Illinois for military purposes.

Such conveyance may be accepted subject to the condition that title to such property will revert to the grantor or his heirs should such property cease to be used by the State of Illinois for military purposes.
