SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

750 ILCS 22/203

Amends the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning initiating and responding tribunals.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Uniform Interstate Family Support Act is amended by changing Section 203 as follows:

Sec. 203. Initiating and responding tribunal of State. Under this Act, a tribunal of this State may serve as an initiating tribunal to forward proceedings to another state and and as a responding tribunal for proceedings initiated in another state.
