1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize Mrs. Josephine Janie
4 Sparks of North Chicago on her 100th birthday; and

5     WHEREAS, Josephine Sparks celebrated her 100th birthday on
6 November 10, 2007; and

7     WHEREAS, Throughout her life, Mrs. Sparks has seen many
8 changes and witnessed many events that she shares with others;
9 she shares her faith in God, her stories, and her many memories
10 with different generations; and

11     WHEREAS, Mrs. Sparks is a woman of God, and a woman of
12 grace; she has been faithful to her family, her children, her
13 friends, and her community throughout many years; therefore, be
14 it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
17 congratulate Mrs. Josephine Janie Sparks on celebrating this
18 momentous birthday and we wish her good health and happiness;
19 and be it further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
