HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Frank Victoria on his retirement from the Nightingale Elementary School; and

WHEREAS, Frank Victoria has worked in Chicago public schools for 16 years; he taught at Ward J Elementary School and Goodlow Elementary Magnet School until his move to Nightingale School, where he taught for 15 years; he has served as a Union Representative for Nightingale School; he has taught upper grade students and has directed various student performances; he was known for his love of teaching world history and American history; he has been nominated for Who's Who in Teaching; and

WHEREAS, Frank Victoria is an accomplished writer; he has won 7 writing awards and has competed with business writers across the country in national writing contests; he has been the editorial director of 3 magazines covering the petroleum marketing industry; and

WHEREAS, Frank Victoria has been married to Gloria Victoria for 25 years; his parents are Virginia and Frank Victoria; his brother is Russell Victoria; his niece is Deana; and his grand nephew is Nicholas; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Frank Victoria on his retirement and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Frank Victoria as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
