HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Stephen Howard Paige of Chicago, who passed away on June 6, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Paige was born on August 1, 1960, the first of two sons born to George and Billie Paige; he and his family attended St. Ailbe, and Stephen attended school there; he graduated in 1974 and then attended St. Ignatius College Prep, where he completed Advanced Placement coursework in the areas of Communications and Computer Science; and

WHEREAS, Upon his graduation from St. Ignatius in 1978, Stephen Paige went on to the University of Illinois at Chicago, working part-time at the school radio station and radio stations in Chicago, Waukegan, and Aurora after college; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Paige was dedicated to his church, sharing his mother's love of music by being devoted to the church choir and choral group; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Paige joined the staff of Continental Testing Services, Inc. in 1983 where he became the Director of Customer Service; and

WHEREAS, In the spring of 2004 Stephen Paige met the love of his life, Jacinta Holston, and they were married on August 6, 2005; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Stephen Howard Paige will be deeply felt by all those who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Jacinta; his step-daughter, Daira; his mother and father, Billie and George Paige; his brother, Gary (Denise) Paige and his step-daughter, Simone; and his many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Stephen Howard Paige; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Stephen Howard Paige as a symbol of our sympathy.
