HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association Windy City Warriors on winning the Illinois High School Association Wheelchair Basketball State title; and

WHEREAS, The team also won the title in 2004 and 2006; and

WHEREAS, The Warriors are ranked number eleven in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association Junior Nationals held in Stillwater, Oklahoma; and

WHEREAS, The Warriors are sponsored by the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association; and

WHEREAS, The Warriors are Shawna Culp, Zach Haney, Danny Hernandez, Andrew Kuebel, Tony Martin, Jenny Nilsen, Elissa Robinson, Jonathan Ruiz, Gina Wehling; they are led by Head Coach Len Ciarlette; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Windy City Warriors on winning the State title and wish them continued victories in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to each member of the Windy City Warriors as a symbol of our respect and admiration.
