HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Pam Huske on her 25 years of service to St. John's Lutheran School in Elgin; and

WHEREAS, Pam Huske attended college at Elgin Community College, Southern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, and Xavier University; she currently teaches middle school Grammar and elementary Language Arts classes at St. John's; she also serves as an Early Childhood aide, a middle school advisor, the school's resource teacher, and the Special Education coordinator for the District; formerly, she taught third grade, preschool, math courses, and cooking electives; she has also worked as an aide at Hillcrest School in a SCLD classroom and has substituted in the Carterville school district; and

WHEREAS, Pam Huske has been actively involved in the St. John's congregation for many years; she has been a member of the choir and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League; she has been a Ladies Aid member for over 25 years; she has also served as a Sunday school and Bible study teacher, on various committees and boards, and with Vacation Bible School; and

WHEREAS, Pam Huske is very active in her community; she has been active with the Girl Scouts for over 50 years; she was a Cub Scout leader; she is a member of the Elgin Area Historical Society and serves on the board of Learning Disabilities of America and Lutheran Special Education ministries; and

WHEREAS, Pam Huske and her husband of 39 years, Ken, have two children, Michele and Todd; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Pam Huske on her 25 years of dedicated service to the students of St. John's Lutheran School; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Pam Huske as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
