HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Collinsville High School Drill Team on winning the Illinois Drill Team Association State Competition in AAA Kick, which was held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Assembly Hall on the campus of the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign; and

WHEREAS, Approximately 100 schools in three divisions competed that day; and

WHEREAS, The Collinsville team won in the kick contest, which requires members to have at least 50 kicks in a three-minute routine; and

WHEREAS, The Collinsville team used "The Pink Panther" music as their theme for the kick routine; the team also placed fourth in the pom dance; and

WHEREAS, The team Coaches are Cindy Hollingshead and Jackie Meurer; the Athletic Director is Bob Hollingshead; and the Principal is Eric Flohr; and

WHEREAS, Team Members are Danielle Albertina, Christa Bass, Kristina Becker, Brooke Bettorf, Danielle Bozzardi, Alexa Deets, Jennifer Dyson, Jessica Dyson, Danielle Goetter, Lauren Keller, Hannah Kelly, Kellsie Marchbanks, Anna McGovern, Stephanie McGovern, Hannah Proffitt, Stephanie Ralston, Dana Rogers, Lucy Stranz, and Samantha Yovandich; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Collinsville High School Drill Team on winning the Illinois Drill Team Association State Competition in AAA Kick; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Collinsville High School Drill Team as a symbol of our esteem.
