HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, State Representative Monique D. Davis and the members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Helen Frazier Gregg, who passed away on April 1, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Helen Frazier Gregg was born in Charleston, South Carolina; her parents were Willie and Venus Richardson Frazier; and

WHEREAS, She joined the St. Beulah Baptist Church at an early age; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Helen Frazier Gregg is survived by her three daughters, Louise Harrison White, Helen Harrison and her husband, Dozier Thomas, and Evelyn Harrison and her husband, John Miller; her six grandchildren; her seven great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Harris; her brother-in-law, Retired General Arthur Gregg; and her many cousins and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Mrs. Helen Frazier Gregg; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mrs. Helen Frazier Gregg as a symbol of our sympathy.
