1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Mascoutah High
4 School Pom Team on winning the State pom squad championship at
5 the 2007 Illinois Dance Team Association's State competition at
6 the Assembly Hall in Champaign; and

7     WHEREAS, This year was the second State championship in
8 three years for the varsity pom squad; and

9     WHEREAS, The head coach of the Mascoutah High School Pom
10 Team is Missey Sirtak; and

11     WHEREAS, Members of this year's State championship squad
12 from Mascoutah High School are Nicole Vernier, Erinn Funk, Tori
13 Knobeloch, Lisa Lang, Erical Hommel, Jeana Wiley, Liz
14 Lingelbach, Kayla Travous, Alaina Schrempp, Jordan Esch,
15 Lauren Segelhorst, Sarah Hutchinson, Kati Reiss, Sarah
16 Rybicki, Samantha Johnson, Cassie Short, and Kristen Wehmeyer;
17 therefore, be it

18     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 congratulate the Mascoutah High School Pom Team on winning the
21 State pom squad championship; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the Mascoutah High School Pom Team as a symbol of
3 our esteem.
