1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Highland High School
4 Lady Bulldogs Varsity Dance Team for becoming the first dance
5 squad in the program's history to capture two State titles in
6 the same year; and

7     WHEREAS, The varsity team received first place in State in
8 AA Dance and AA Lyrical at the Illinois Drill Team Association
9 State Finals at the University of Illinois' Assembly Hall; and

10     WHEREAS, The head coach is Ms. Michelle Deets and assistant
11 coaches are Erin Stackeljahn, Tiffany Conzelman, and Kim
12 Romero; and

13     WHEREAS, Members of the Highland High School Lady Bulldogs
14 Varsity Dance Team are Ami Caniff, Emily Gaehle, Brigette
15 Michael, Jessica Schmitz, Tara Wellen, Kayla Schwierjohn,
16 Ashley Wahl, Kara Luitjohan, Sara Trout, Alisa Churchwell,
17 Briana Gilomen, Kelly Fulton, Brooke Maurer and Megan Frank;
18 therefore, be it

19     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
21 congratulate the Lady Bulldogs Varsity Dance Team and wish them

1 continued success in the future; and be it further

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the Highland High School Lady Bulldogs Varsity
4 Dance Team as a symbol of our esteem.
