HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Samuel Watt on the occasion of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Samuel Watt was born on August 27, 1991; he is the son of Walter "Quincy" and Dannette Watt; and

WHEREAS, Samuel Watt, a member of Boy Scout Troop 7, completed his Eagle Scout project by creating and installing 25 Trail Markers and 8 Posts set into the ground at The Nature Institute in Godfrey, identifying trails and areas; he was responsible for the project by attaining materials, purchased and donated, arranging help from other Scouts and Scout leaders, and having his project approved by the Eagle Scout Board of Review of the Trails West Council, Piasa Bird District; and

WHEREAS, Samuel Watt was honored in a ceremony on May 24, 2008 by his parents, his older brother, fellow Scouts, and his friends on the property of Scoutmaster John Bridgeman; and

WHEREAS, Samuel Watt serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Samuel Watt on the occasion of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Samuel Watt as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
