1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4 Chicago Fire Department Engine Company 116 on the occasion of
5 the company's 100th anniversary; and

6     WHEREAS, Chicago Fire Department Engine Company 116 will
7 celebrate 100 years of dedicated service to the citizens of
8 Englewood and West Englewood with an open house on July 19,
9 2008; and

10     WHEREAS, The members of Chicago Fire Department Engine
11 Company 116 serve as models of hard work, integrity, and
12 dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore,
13 be it

14     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
16 congratulate the members of the Chicago Fire Department Engine
17 Company 116 on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary
18 and wish them continued success and happiness in the future;
19 and be it further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to Chicago Fire Department Engine Company 116 Captain
