| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | | 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Germantown | | 4 |
| Bulldogs basketball team on winning first place in the Class S | | 5 |
| Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association | | 6 |
| State Tournament; and
| | 7 |
| WHEREAS, Additional accomplishments of the Germantown | | 8 |
| Bulldogs for the 2006-2007 season include being the Conference | | 9 |
| Co-Champions, the Conference Tourney Champions, the Hoyleton | | 10 |
| Tourney Champions, and Regional Champions; and
| | 11 |
| WHEREAS, The State Championship basketball was given to | | 12 |
| Coach Gerard Albers by former Germantown Basketball Coach Neal | | 13 |
| Welz; Coach Welz led the 1981 Germantown Bulldogs to the State | | 14 |
| championship; and
| | 15 |
| WHEREAS, The Bulldog coaches are Gerard Albers and Randy | | 16 |
| Beckmann; the cheerleading coach is Tanis Hampton; and the team | | 17 |
| managers are Kyler Scheer, Mitchell Langenhorst, and Jordan | | 18 |
| Lampe; and

| WHEREAS, In addition to a winning season for the basketball | | 20 |
| team, the Germantown Bulldog cheerleaders also won first place | | 21 |
| in the Conference tournament and the Irvington Tournament; the |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | | 12 |

| congratulate the Germantown Bulldogs basketball team on | | 14 |
