1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor the pastor and
4 congregation of First Presbyterian Church in Aurora as they
5 celebrate the 150th anniversary of the church; and

6     WHEREAS, The church will celebrate their anniversary on
7 June 13, 14, and 15, 2008 with many festivities planned;
8 therefore, be it

9     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
10 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
11 congratulate First Presbyterian Church in Aurora and wish the
12 pastor and congregation many more successful years of ministry
13 to the community; and be it further

14     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15 presented to the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Aurora
16 as a symbol of our respect.
