1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Lady Bulldogs of
4 Germantown Elementary School on winning the medium class
5 Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association
6 (SIJHSAA) State Basketball Championship; and

7     WHEREAS, The championship game was held at Rend Lake
8 College on January 26, 2007 and ended with a 59-31 Germantown
9 victory over Christopher; and

10     WHEREAS, The championship ended a perfect 26-0 season for
11 the Lady Bulldogs; and

12     WHEREAS, The Germantown Lady Bulldogs are led by coaches
13 Randy Gerling and Tim Hitpas; the team managers are Nick Hitpas
14 and Nolan Gerling; and

15     WHEREAS, The Germantown Lady Bulldogs are Anne Lampe,
16 Alexis Toennies, Kelly Stukenberg, Brooke Schulte, Maria
17 Gebke, Alyssa Hitpas, Kayla Eversgerd, Megan Langenhorst,
18 Abbey Winter, Paige Heimann, Kaley Boeckmann, Mackenzie
19 Gerling, Ariel Kuhl, and Jaime Haake; therefore, be it

20     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
2 congratulate the Lady Bulldogs of Germantown on winning the
3 medium class Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic
4 Association State Basketball Championship; and be it further

5     RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
6 presented to the coaches and team members of the Lady Bulldogs
7 as a symbol of our esteem.
