HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Havana Rural Fire Department Lieutenant Brian DeFord, who passed away on January 6, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Lieutenant Brian DeFord served with the Havana Rural Fire Department for about five years, developing a fine reputation as a dependable and caring firefighter; and

WHEREAS, Lieutenant Brian DeFord's love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared him to his family members, friends, and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Havana Rural Fire Department Lieutenant Brian DeFord; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lieutenant Brian DeFord as an expression of our sympathy.
