Amends the Neglected Children Offense Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the competency of witnesses.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning criminal law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Neglected Children Offense Act is amended by changing Section 3 as follows:

Sec. 3. The The husband or wife of the defendant shall be a competent witness to testify in any case brought under this Act and to any and all matters relevant thereto.
