20 ILCS 105/3.05

Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Makes a technical change in a Section defining "aged" or "senior citizen".

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by changing Section 3.05 as follows:

(20 ILCS 105/3.05) (from Ch. 23, par. 6103.05)

Sec. 3.05. "Aged" or "Senior citizen" means a person of 55 years of age or older, or a person nearing the the age of 55 for whom opportunities for employment and participation in community life are unavailable or severely limited and who, as a result thereof, has difficulty in maintaining self-sufficiency and contributing to the life of the community.
