1     AN ACT concerning public aid.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5 adding Section 12-4.24b as follows:

6     (305 ILCS 5/12-4.24b new)
7     Sec. 12-4.24b. Report of enrollment in medical
8 assistance-funded programs. The Department of Healthcare and
9 Family Services shall file a monthly written report with the
10 General Assembly stating the current enrollment in each program
11 administered by the Department that is funded in whole or in
12 part with moneys appropriated for medical assistance line items
13 in the Department's budget.

14     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15 becoming law.
