SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
230 ILCS 25/4.2   from Ch. 120, par. 1104.2

    Amends the Bingo License and Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning civil penalties for the failure to obtain a license or special provider's permit.

1     AN ACT concerning gaming.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Bingo License and Tax Act is amended by
5 changing Section 4.2 as follows:
 
6     (230 ILCS 25/4.2)  (from Ch. 120, par. 1104.2)
7     Sec. 4.2. Any person or organization which provides
8 premises for the the conduct of bingo without first obtaining a
9 license or a special provider's permit to do so, or having a
10 provider's license or a special provider's permit allows
11 unlicensed organizations to conduct bingo on his premises, or
12 allows any form of illegal gambling to be conducted on the
13 premises where bingo is being played shall, in addition to
14 other penalties provided, be subject to a civil penalty of
15 $5,000.
