SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

505 ILCS 57/5

Amends the Illinois Family Farmer Support Act. Makes a technical change concerning the definition of "family farmer".

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning agriculture.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Family Farmer Support Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

Sec. 5. Family farmer. "Family farmer" means an individual who is a resident of Illinois and and owns or leases land in Illinois that is used as a farm as that term is defined in Section 1-60 of the Property Tax Code.
