SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of James M. Viverito, Jr., who passed away on December 31, 2006; and

WHEREAS, James Viverito was born on October 26, 1981 in Palos Heights; his parents are James M. Viverito Sr. and Kathy (Norris) Viverito; and

WHEREAS, James Viverito gave his life to God at an early age, praying the sinner's prayer with his mother; he rededicated his life at camp, and together with his mother, his sister, Cassi, and his brother, Mike, was baptized on the shores of Lake Michigan; and

WHEREAS, James Viverito served God by ministering in nursing homes, serving in soup kitchens, and helping others in homeless shelters; and

WHEREAS, James Viverito attended Stone Church Christian Academy, Worth Junior High School, and Chicago Christian High School; he had also completed an internship at IBEW #134 and was a Journeyman Electrician; he was proud of being one of the electricians that put the lights in at U.S. Cellular Field (formerly Comiskey Park); and

WHEREAS, James Viverito is remembered for caring deeply for his family, especially his sister and his niece; he had a tender heart and loved to make people laugh with his imitation of others; and

WHEREAS, James M. Viverito, Jr. is survived and will be missed by his parents, James M. Viverito Sr. and Kathy Viverito; his sister, Cassandra; his niece, Angelina; his grandparents, Frank and Agnes Norris and Bert and Emily Viverito; his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with all who knew and loved this young man, the passing of James Viverito; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James M. Viverito, Jr., as an expression of our sincere sympathy.
