SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Stephen A. Juhrend of Lake Bluff, formerly of Lake Forest, on February 5, 2005; and

WHEREAS, He was born in Lake Forest on October 24, 1952 and was a graduate of Lake Forest High School; he was formerly with his family's businesses, The Village Paint Shop and Herman A. Juhrend Decorating Company in Lake Forest; and he was a former employee of Sherwin Williams Paint Company in Waukegan and Walgreens in Lake Forest; and

WHEREAS, Stephen was a Lake County Democratic Party Committeeman and enjoyed restoring Tri-Five Antique Chevys; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Cole; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Stephen A. Juhrend is felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his daughter, Jennifer Ann Juhrend; his son, Douglas A. Juhrend; and his father, H. Arthur Juhrend; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Stephen A. Juhrend and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
