SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Frank Fourez of Christopher, who passed away on October 1, 2006; and

WHEREAS, He was born on September 11, 1925, in Christopher, to Frank and Mary (Bial) Fourez Sr.; he was united in marriage to the former Lawanda B. Evilszier on June 29, 1946; they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary; and

WHEREAS, He was a World War II Navy veteran; he was retired from Central Wholesale Liquor Company after having worked there for over 39 years; and

WHEREAS, He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family; he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and any team playing the Cardinals; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Frank Fourez has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Lawanda; his children, Ricky W. Fourez and his wife, Yvonne, Randall D. Fourez, Bunny L. Fourez, Tami G. Price and her husband, Roger, Rodney D. Fourez and his wife, Francie, and Darrin K. Fourez; his sister, Mary Kaminski; his daughter-in-law, Sue Fourez; his grandchildren, Jolie L. Ramsey, Larry A. Fourez Jr., Jacqueline S. Miller, Johnny F. Fourez, Eric D. Fourez, Amy L. Johnson, Cameron R. Fourez, Jamie L. Randll, Christopher M. Price, Abbie N. Price, Meghan M. Fourez, Rodney D. Fourez II, Jared D. Fourez, Dylan K. Fourez, Zeke A. Fourez, his great-grandchildren; his great-great-grandchild; his two great-great-grandchildren that are expected in 2007; and his several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews; he was preceded in death by his parents and son, Larry A. Fourez Sr.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Frank Fourez, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
