SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lawrence Patrick Keller of Waukegan, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Keller was born on April 8, 1968; he married Sharon Barnewolt on April 25, 1992; on January 22, 1994 they became the proud parents of Manhattan Louise; and

WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Anastasia Church; he was a volunteer with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and was named Volunteer of the Year in April of 2006; and

WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Carmel High School in Mundelein and Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa; after college he returned to Waukegan to work for his father at Keller Trucking, Inc., in addition to other business ventures; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Keller was an avid Bears fan; he enjoyed the outdoors, canoeing and camping; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Patrick Keller is survived by his wife, Sharon; his daughter, Manhattan; his parents, Lawrence and Regina Keller; his brothers, Daniel, Robert (wife, Joann), and Richard (wife, Marcie); his sisters, Meg Rapplean (husband, Mark), and Jennifer Keller Naqvi (husband, Farrukh); and his in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we again send our sympathies to the family and friends of Lawrence Keller; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lawrence Patrick Keller.
