SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the untimely death of Phillip Colter Frey of Anna on Saturday, July 8, 2006; and

WHEREAS, He was born May 22, 1986, in Anna, the son of Mary Rothschild-Adams and Charles Frey; and

WHEREAS, Colter was a 2004 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School and attended Shawnee Community College in Ullin; he was a member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Frey; his uncle, Corlis "Cotton" Powles; and his cousin, Brad Penninger; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Phillip Colter Frey has been deeply felt by many, especially his mother and stepfather, Mary and Tim Adams; his father, Charles Frey; his sisters, Katlyn and Jocelyn; his maternal grandparents, David and Kay Rothschild; his paternal grandfather, Edwin Frey; his maternal great-grandparents, Phillip and Beulah Rothschild; his uncles, Scott and wife, Julie Rothschild, Frank and wife, Dana Frey, and Dennis and wife, Jackie Frey; his aunt, Donna and husband, Mike Dennard; his special friends, Samantha Nance and Chad Stewart; and his cousins, other relatives, and many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Phillip Colter Frey, who was taken from this world much too soon, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
