SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Vivian Prusaczyk, on July 23, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Vivian Nork was born on May 1, 1919, in West Frankfort to John and Victoria (Kaphalynas) Nork; she was the loving wife of the late Charlie Prusaczyk; and

WHEREAS, Vivian Prusaczyk was retired from School District 168 as a cook; she was a lifetime member of St. John's Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Vivian Prusaczyk is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughters Vivian Frazier, Kathy Bates, Suzanne Crabtree, and Marilyn Morgan; her son, Charles Prusaczyk; her 10 grandchildren; and her 20 great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie; her twin infant sons; her brother, John Nork; her sister, Mildred Brunton; and her mother, Victoria Kathalynas; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Vivian Prusaczyk, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
