SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Donna A. Steder of Aurora
4 on February 1, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born November 6, 1961 in Hillside, the
6 daughter of Charles and Irene (Behounek) Kwiatkowski; she was a
7 member of Holy Angels Church; and
 
8     WHEREAS, She celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary in May
9 2004 with her loving and devoted husband, Kevin; Donna was a
10 loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister; and
 
11     WHEREAS, She attended Glenbard East High School in Lombard
12 and Northern Illinois University in DeKalb; she was a great
13 gymnast in high school, as well as a great overall athlete; she
14 was a beautician; and
 
15     WHEREAS, Donna loved gardening and had a "green thumb"; she
16 volunteered at Blackberry Farms in Aurora caring for their
17 floral beds; her work at Blackberry Farms earned her a spot on
18 the Channel Two News "Someone You Should Know" segment; and
 
19     WHEREAS, The passing of Donna Steder is felt by all who
20 knew and loved her, especially her husband, Kevin; her
21 children, Rochelle and Sonya Steder; her parents; her brother,
22 Greg (Barb) Kwiatkowski; her mother-in-law, Velma Steder; and
23 her many nieces and nephews; and
 
24     WHEREAS, Her death has left a deep void in the lives and
25 hearts of her family and many friends to whom she brought
26 happiness and affection; therefore, be it
 
27     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
28 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that even as her death is

1 mourned, we give thanks for the blessing of Donna Steder's life
2 and extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends,
3 whose grief we share; and be it further
 
4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to her family as an expression of our deepest
6 sympathy.
