SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Kevin Carl Teets of Springfield, formerly of Bethalto, on Saturday, April 8, 2006; and

WHEREAS, He was born on February 1, 1958, in Elgin to Richard Carl and Mary Edna (Jackson) Teets; he married the former Stephanie Zick on February 20, 1982; and

WHEREAS, He was a carpenter for Union Local 16, where he was a trustee on the board of executives; he had volunteered during the recent tornado disaster in Springfield; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Kevin Teets has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Stephanie; his mother, Mary Edna Teets; his daughter, Chandra Nicole Teets; his son and his wife, Carl James and Shawntay Teets; his grandchildren, Devin and Bryce; his brothers and sister-in-law, Bradley and Constance Lynette Teets and Brent Lawrence Teets; and his four nieces and eight nephews; he was preceded in death by his father; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kevin Carl Teets, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
