SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois were grieved to learn of the death of Marilyn Vespa Yeley of Springfield on Thursday, February 10, 2005; and

WHEREAS, She was born March 4, 1943, in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Della Vespa; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Yeley graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and attended Springfield College; she was a homemaker; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Marilyn Vespa Yeley has been deeply felt by many, especially her sons, Brian (wife, Adele), Kevin (wife, Amy), and Michael (wife, Melissa) McFadden; her five grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her mother, Della Ferry; her brother, Conrad Vespa; and her three nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that even while we mourn the passing of Marilyn Vespa Yeley, we celebrate and give thanks for the life that she lived and the lives that she touched, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our sincere condolences.
