| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express | | 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Harry | | 4 |
| Mills Martin of Buffalo Grove, who passed away on January 29, | | 5 |
| 2006; and
| | 6 |
| WHEREAS, Harry Mills Martin was born on December 13, 1930; | | 7 |
| he married Sondra (nee Bjelland) on September 19, 1959; and
| | 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a successful stockbroker for 38 years; and
| | 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Martin was an avid golfer; he loved to fish; | | 10 |
| and he was very active in the lives of his grandchildren; and
| | 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Harry Mills Martin will be felt by | | 12 |
| all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Sondra; his | | 13 |
| children, Kathryn (James) Troy, Andrew (Linda) Martin, | | 14 |
| Jennifer (Patrick) Steininger, Philip (Cheryl) Martin, and | | 15 |
| Amanda (William) Grant; his grandchildren, Kyle, Marissa, | | 16 |
| Drew, Kyra, Kelly, Garrett, Collin, Jeremy, Evan, Ryan, Amanda, | | 17 |
| Joseph, and Nicole; his brothers, Donald (the late Patricia) | | 18 |
| Martin and S. Jerome (Marilyn) Martin; and his many nieces and | | 19 |
| nephews; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | | 21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | | 22 |
| all who knew and loved him, the death of Harry Mills Martin; | | 23 |
| and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | | 25 |
| presented to the family of Harry Mills Martin as an expression | | 26 |
| of our sympathy.
