SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Marjorie Liewald of Oak Park on January 15, 2005; and

WHEREAS, She was a self-employed fashion designer during her working years; and

WHEREAS, She was a beautiful and gracious woman who always had a smile and kind words for her neighbors; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Marjorie Liewald is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Louis A. Jr., her daughter, Lisa Liewald, and her son-in-law, John Houdek; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marjorie Liewald and we extend our sincere condolences to her family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
