SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of David R. Ybarra, Jr., of Merced, California, formerly of Waukegan, Illinois on Saturday, October 8, 2005; and

WHEREAS, David R. Ybarra, Jr., graduated from high school in Waukegan and attended Merced College, where he was studying to become a chemical engineer; while attending school, he was employed as a clerk at a local Walgreens; and

WHEREAS, In his younger years, David was active in the Boy Scouts; he enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball, hockey, basketball, golf, roller blading, and roller skating and especially liked tinkering with cars; and

WHEREAS, The passing of David R. Ybarra, Jr., has been deeply felt by many, especially his mother, Dalinda (Jim) Miller; his father who raised him, William Linsky; his brother, Ryan Linsky; his sister, Kelly Marie Linsky; his grandparents, Walter and Phyllis Linsky, Ben and Betty Ybarra, Louis (Debra) Torres, and Lorraine (Rick) Torres; his great-grandparents, Alfred and Lupe Delgado; his uncle, Mike (Angela) Linsky; and many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of David R. Ybarra, Jr., and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
