SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Nicholas Joseph Farella of Park City on Friday, September 9, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Farella was born on July 28, 1948, in North Chicago to Dominick Farella and Jacqueline Gisbon; he was raised in North Chicago and lived his life in Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Farella touched many lives, not only in person, but also through the radio, doing what he loved in the Chicago area for over thirty-five years; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Nicholas Joseph Farella has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Karen Allen Farella; his mother; his children, Jackie, Dominick, Carrie, and Christine; his grandchildren, Matthew, Angeline, Joseph, and Katelyn; and his siblings, Tony and Carol; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Nicholas Joseph Farella, and we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy for their loss.
