SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of John F. Kuntz of Peoria on October 17, 2005; and

WHEREAS, John F. Kuntz was born on January 26, 1940 in Strawn to Francis and Marie Busby Kuntz; he married Judy Wiltse on June 13, 1970 in Peoria; she preceded him in death; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Kuntz was director of conference facilities at Bradley University for 37 years; he was a peacetime Vietnam Marine veteran, serving from 1959 to 1962; and

WHEREAS, he was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church and its Men's Club; he was also a member of Bradley University's Chiefs Club; and

WHEREAS, The passing of John F. Kuntz has been deeply felt by many, especially his daughter, Amy Kuntz; his son, John Kuntz; his companion, Patty Gorham; and many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John F. Kuntz, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
