| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois | | 3 |
| were saddened to learn of the death of Theresa Lynn "Meme" | | 4 |
| Roman of Metropolis on Friday, September 30, 2005; and
| | 5 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Theresa Lynn Roman has been deeply | | 6 |
| felt by many, especially her daughter, Melissa (Brandon) | | 7 |
| Williams; her son, John (Vicky) Roman; her grandchildren, | | 8 |
| Serenity Roman, Austin Roman, Kelsey Williams, and Haylee | | 9 |
| Williams; her sisters, Jackie (Bob) Caccioppo, Linda | | 10 |
| Blankenship, and Johnnie (Vince) DeMarco; and several nieces | | 11 |
| and nephews; and

| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and | | 13 |
| Evelyn Hurt Harris, and one brother-in-law, Alvin Blankenship; | | 14 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | | 16 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | | 17 |
| Theresa Lynn Roman, and we extend our sincere condolences to | | 18 |
| her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | | 19 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | | 21 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest | | 22 |
| sympathy.
