SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Chad Short, who passed away on October 3, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Chad Short was born on January 24, 1975 in West Frankfort to Howard and Imogene Avery Reed and the late Martha Reed Short; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Short was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; he was especially known for goose calling and guided goose hunting trips; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Short was employed at Jason's Nursery of West Frankfort; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Chad Short will be felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his parents; his precious children, Makayla and Drake Short; his former wife and special friend, Cathy Short; his brothers, Charles Tink (Viola) Reed, Mark (Janet), and Perry (Patty); and his sisters, Becky (Dick) Hill and Gina (Jim) Tomms; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with all who knew and loved him, the death of Chad Short; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Chad Short.
