SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Mildred F. Heal of Herrin on Monday, July 18, 2005; and

WHEREAS, She was born on July 24, 1918, in Wadesville, Indiana, to F. Dalton and Hattie (Kolb) Owens; she married Charles W. Heal Sr. on January 1, 1938, in Vincennes, Indiana; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Heal was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Herrin; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Mildred F. Heal has been deeply felt by many, especially her husband, Charles W. Heal Sr.; her sons, Charles W. Heal Jr. and wife, Ginger, and David Heal and wife, Lynne; her daughter, Mary Ruth Mygatt and husband, William; her grandchildren, Heather and James Morford, Lance Heal, Brandon Heal, John and Deanna Heal, Matthew and Kim Heal, Scott and Mary Heal, and Megan Mygatt; her seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Stafford; she was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Sean Heal; her brother, Dale Owens; and her sister, Mary Owens; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mildred F. Heal, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
