SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Ina Robertson of Marion on
4 July 27, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mrs. Robertson was born May 3, 1922, in Marion, to
6 Clarence Blanchard and Mollie Louise (Parks) Jones; she married
7 John Freeman Robertson; and
 
8     WHEREAS, She was a homemaker and a longtime member of
9 McKinney Chapel Church, where she taught Sunday school; and
 
10     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her
11 husband; her granddaughter, Jonna Danielle Robertson; her
12 sisters, Lucille Jones, Imogene Hudgens, and Ruth Rendleman;
13 and her brother, Blanchard Jones; and
 
14     WHEREAS, The passing of Ina Robertson is felt by all who
15 knew and loved her, especially her son and daughter-in-law,
16 John Daniel and Lavelle Robertson; her grandchildren, John
17 Daniel Robertson II, Sean Michael Robertson, and Lucas Aaron
18 Robertson and Shelley Robertson; her great-grandchildren,
19 Britton Gregoire; her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Joy
20 Jones; her sister and brother-in-law, Lula and Shirley Midgett;
21 her brother-in-law, Max Hudgens; her sisters-in-law and
22 brothers-in-law, Elva and Don Robinson, Naomi and Delbert
23 Sullivan, Lorene and Raymond Montgomery, Clara and Fred
24 Elfrank, and Vida Boyt; her nieces and nephews; and her
25 great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
28 Ina Robertson and extend our sincerest condolences to her
29 family and friends; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to her family as an expression of our deepest
3 sympathy.
