SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Ina Robertson of Marion on July 27, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Robertson was born May 3, 1922, in Marion, to Clarence Blanchard and Mollie Louise (Parks) Jones; she married John Freeman Robertson; and

WHEREAS, She was a homemaker and a longtime member of McKinney Chapel Church, where she taught Sunday school; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her granddaughter, Jonna Danielle Robertson; her sisters, Lucille Jones, Imogene Hudgens, and Ruth Rendleman; and her brother, Blanchard Jones; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Ina Robertson is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her son and daughter-in-law, John Daniel and Lavelle Robertson; her grandchildren, John Daniel Robertson II, Sean Michael Robertson, and Lucas Aaron Robertson and Shelley Robertson; her great-grandchildren, Britton Gregoire; her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Joy Jones; her sister and brother-in-law, Lula and Shirley Midgett; her brother-in-law, Max Hudgens; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elva and Don Robinson, Naomi and Delbert Sullivan, Lorene and Raymond Montgomery, Clara and Fred Elfrank, and Vida Boyt; her nieces and nephews; and her great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ina Robertson and extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
