SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Tadeusz "Ted" Molek of North Chicago on Monday, January 24, 2005; and

WHEREAS, He was born on June 15, 1925, in Horohow, Poland, and had lived in North Chicago for the last 50 years; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Molek was a machine operator for Moscow Screw Co. and Patton Screw Products until his retirement in 1994, and was a member of the Polish National Alliance and the Polish American Veterans; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Tadeusz "Ted" Molek has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife of 22 years, Elizabeth (nee Bukala); his brother, Stanley (Mary) Molek; his sister, Ceslawa Maczla; and his many nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his parents, Andrrzej and Anna, and one brother and one sister; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Tadeusz "Ted" Molek, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
