SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Frances Florence Jones of Christopher on Saturday, July 9, 2005; and

WHEREAS, She was born on September 24, 1933, in Chicago to Anton and Florence (Bannach) Rajholec; she married James Russell Jones Sr.; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Jones had worked at Christopher Dime Store and was a member of Southside Baptist Church; she was baptized December 27, 1992, and was an avid reader; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Frances Florence Jones has been deeply felt by many, especially her children, James R. Jones Jr., Vincent F. Jones, Anton L. Jones, and Gregory and Katrina Jones; her grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Ryan and Felicia Jones, Samantha Jones, and Amanda Jones; her great-grandchild, Mathew Jones; her brothers and sisters, Stanley Rejholec, Lillian Rozhon, Ruth Lizanby, Charles O'Donnell, James O'Donnell, and Daniel O'Donnell; she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Melvin Rejholec; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Frances Florence Jones, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our sincere condolences.
