SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Anna Marie Lentine of Zion on June 20, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Lentine was born in Chicago on February 12, 1909, and was a resident of Lake County for 75 years; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick; her son, Joseph; her parents, Bambina and Vincent Zarlinga; and her four brothers and two sisters; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Anna Marie Lentine is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her sons, Pete (Sandy) Lentine and William (Patricia) Lentine; her daughter, Linda (David) DeRue; her 10 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren; her daughters-in-law, Tina Nighsonger and Shirley Hoven; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Anna Marie Lentine and extend our heartfelt condolences to her family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
